Reinsurance Property pricing Actuary (CDD/STA)

One year contract, starting 1st of April 2024

Context :

In this role, you will support the Head of Pricing Reinsurance Property and underwriters across Europe, Africa and Middle East in all aspects of property pricing. You will have exposure to both the Underwriting and Actuarial leadership teams through reinsurance programs pricing, studies, quarterly business review meetings and annual business planning. Additionally, you will have further exposure to Sciences and natural peril team as well as ERM team as you work with them in CAT models evaluation, aggregation process and various other projects and analyses to support Pricing and ERM efforts.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
• Support analyzing, modeling and pricing property treaties within Europe, Middle East, Africa in collaboration with CAT modelers, actuaries and underwriters.
• Evaluate CAT models in collaboration with sciences and natural peril team.
• Participate to CAT aggregation process for ERM.
• Participate to LR review and planning exercise with central actuarial team.

This role will be the direct report of the Head of Pricing Reinsurance Property EMEA

• Effective communications skills. Ability to gain buy-in and communicate clearly and
